Attention: All Members of the Musicians’ Union of Maldives
Musicians’ Union of Maldives (M.U.M) is set to hold the Union’s 4th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on the 30th of June 2023.
As the 2-year term of the former/existing Executive Committee (EXCO) members was concluded towards the end of November 2022, the election of a new EXCO will be an important part of the AGM.
Elections will be held for all EXCO posts, which include:
President
Vice President
Treasurer
Secretary General
Public Relations Director

As the third announcement for submissions, the former/existing EXCO urges eligible members of the union to apply without further delay.
The future of the organization relies on a fully functioning Executive Committee as strong leadership is vital to deliver the union’s mandates. The EXCO’s months in hiatus will hinder the union's strategy to execute its commitments and therefore needs to operate urgently.
The respective positions in the EXCO require diligent individuals who are devoted to achieving the unions ambitions. The union represents the sentiments of Maldivian musicians and is dedicated towards protecting their rights and progressing the industry. Musicians and music enthusiasts who are currently not members of the union but hold the same vision are invited to join the union to become part of a community driven to change.
