Musicians’ Union of the Maldives (M.U.M) has partnered with The islandchief to promote local music talents in the hospitality industry. Under this partnership, local artists belonging to the union will be featured in a special column dedicated in the monthly print edition of The islandchief.
The main aim of this collaboration is to support and make way in providing opportunities for the featured local musicians and artists across the tourism and hospitality scene of the Maldives and to advocate for the local music industry’s growth by increasing musicians’ overall employment and income.
